This facebook inspired worksheet is used to motivate and get to know students while providing them with space to tell about themselves. The three main questions in the center are: My Summer Vacation, What I’m Looking Forward to This Year and Favorite Memory from Last Year. Comments and suggestions are welcome if you’d like to see other worksheets made from this template.
This is so cute! I teach food and would love to make a “foodbook” version to ask kids about their cooking experience, favorite foods, etc. Is there a word version or some other way I could edit it to my needs? Thanks so much in advance!
Jenna
Thanks, this was made in Photoshop and then exported as pdf, so I don’t have a Word version. I like your idea, though. I’ll will try to create it in Word this week. I think there are many uses like author profiles and historical figure profiles… Check back within the week.
Jenna,
I teach foods also, and came across this idea and your suggestion, too good to pass up. Did you ever come up with a foodbook version. This year my theme is Iphone… Iwill, Ican etc., therefore on the 1st day of school I would like to “Facebook” them. If you found one, would you like to share. I will be more than happy to share the bulletin board idea and class rules all done with Icons. Either way, pls. let me know. I hate to re-invent the wheel as they say!!! Thanks!!
I SOOOO love this!!! Thank you for sharing your creatiity!!!
I altered this a little and used it in my Shakespeare unit. After doing some research on William Shakespeare I then asked students to create a facebook profile for a modern version of Shakespeare.
Any chance you hav made the Word template yet?? Wanting to use this with my students for historical figures and would love to edit the categories.
Have you seen this Word version?
THANK GOD I found this! I have been looking all night for this! Thanks for posting it. You have NO IDEA how much you helped me!
Thanks, that’s great to hear!
