This group project has students create a interactive poster to depict one motif and one theme of a book. The interactive part is the hard part. Students must make something on the poster move.
- Display on a poster board the following:Graphically depict 1 theme from the book.
- Graphically depict 1 motif from the book.
- For both the theme and the motif, type 2 quotes from the book to demonstrate. Include who said it and to whom. Make the quotes in at least 26 point font so students in the back of the room can see.
- Type your favorite line from the story.
- Make it interactive, colorful, artistic, and creative.*
* By making it interactive it needs to do more than sit there and look pretty. The observer needs to be able to get involved with it somehow. For example: there should be something to spin, open, poke, press, or otherwise engage the viewer.
